- At 1244 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.

Sanford, Southern Pines, Pittsboro, Carthage, Siler City, Pinehurst, Goldston, Whispering Pines, Vass, Cameron, Cumnock, Gum Springs, Glendon, Tramway, Harpers Crossroads, Lemon Springs, Hasty, Moncure, Bynum and Fearrington.
