Patchy dense fog has developed across portions of Forsyth, Davidson, and Guilford counties early this morning. Widespread areas of visibility of between one and a half of a mile should be expected, but may drop to as low as a quarter of a mile with short notice. Slow down, use low beams, and provide extra time to reach your destination safely this morning. Conditions are expected to improve after 6 AM, but may persist as late as 9 AM.
