Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...
A portion of central North Carolina, including the following county, Guilford.

* WHEN...
Until 515 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 212 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.25 inches of rain have fallen over Greensboro, heaviest on the west side.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Greensboro, High Point, McLeansville, Summerfield, Stokesdale, Lake Brandt, Lake Jeanette Marina, Lake Townsend, Colfax, Lake Townsend Marina, Haw River State Park and Belews Lake.
