Flash Flood Warning issued June 26 at 10:02PM EDT until June 26 at 11:45PM EDT by NWS Charleston WV
At 1002 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported high water on Interstate 77 at the bottom of the hill near Giles, near milepost 77. Flooding was also reported along US-60 between Diamond and Shrewsbury. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
