At 552 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 6 miles northeast of Pittsboro to 10 miles southwest of Cary to 11 miles west of Fuquay-Varina, moving east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Raleigh, Cary, Pittsboro, Lillington, Fuquay-Varina, Angier, Apex, Holly Springs, Broadway and Crosswinds Boating Center.
