At 139 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 4 miles northwest of Spruce Pine to 11 miles northwest of Marion to 15 miles south of Burnsville, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to trees and power lines.
