Portions of north central North Carolina, including the following counties, Rockingham and Stokes and Virginia, including the following counties and independent city, City of Martinsville, Henry and Patrick.

Until 430 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1202 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Bull Run, Bassett Branch, Beaver Creek, Cascade Creek, Buffalo Creek, Baker Branch, Dan River, Crooked Creek and Big Beaver Island Creek.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
