At 1147 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Pratt, or 17 miles southeast of Charleston, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Montgomery, Ansted, Cedar Grove, East Bank, Glasgow, Smithers, Gauley Bridge, Pratt, Hawks Nest State Park, Powellton, Handley, Swiss, Sharon, Bentree, and Pond Gap.
This includes West Virginia Turnpike between mile markers 74 and 77, and between mile markers 79 and 81.
