At 430 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles west of Randleman, moving south at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
High Point, Asheboro, Randleman, North Carolina Zoo, Thomasville, Archdale, Trinity, Pleasant Garden, Ramseur, and Franklinville.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 101 and 116.
Interstate 73 between Mile Markers 67 and 94.
Interstate 74 between Mile Markers 73 and 79.
