At 715 AM EDT, radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms between Hillsville, Virginia, and Yadkinville, North Carolina, moving northeast at 40 mph.
Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail are possible with this storm along with very heavy rain.

Fairview...
Flat Rock...
Yadkinville...
Hillsville...
and Jonesville.
Torrential rainfall may cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
