At 824 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a gusty shower near Fuquay- Varina, or 11 miles southwest of Cary, moving west at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Sanford, Pittsboro, Fuquay-Varina, Goldston, Apex, Holly Springs, Crosswinds Boating Center, New Hill, Gum Springs, and Jordan Lake State Rec Area.
