Visible satellite and regional cameras show patchy dense fog in the Triad this morning where visibility has been reduced to below 1 mile and as low as 1/4 in spots. Fog will begin to lift shortly after sunrise before completely clearing later this morning.
Exercise caution during the morning commute. Visibility may drop suddenly and over short distances. Slow down, increase following distance, and turn on your low-beam headlights.
