At 651 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Pine Hall to 8 miles west of Thomasville.
Movement was northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Thomasville, Kernersville, McLeansville, Summerfield, Stokesdale, Jamestown and Haw River State Park.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 33 and 35, and between Mile Markers 113 and 124.
Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 196 and 225.
Interstate 73 between Mile Markers 92 and 103.
Interstate 74 between Mile Markers 56 and 76.
