At 137 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Cedar Grove, or 11 miles southeast of Charleston, moving north at 5 mph.
HAZARD...Half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Charleston, Chesapeake, Marmet, Belle, Cedar Grove, East Bank, Glasgow, Pratt, Coal Fork, Handley, and Sharon.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 79 near mile marker 1.
Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 96 and 98, and near mile marker 103.
West Virginia Turnpike between mile markers 80 and 95.
