At 249 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 11 miles southeast of Pittsboro to 10 miles southwest of Fuquay-Varina, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Cary, Fuquay-Varina, Angier, Apex, Holly Springs, New Hill, Harris Lake Boat Launch, Raven Rock State Park, Shearon Harris Reservoir, and Duncan.
This includes US 1 between Mile Markers 81 and 101.
