At 243 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Pratt, or 17 miles northwest of Fayetteville, moving southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Oak Hill, Montgomery, Ansted, Cedar Grove, East Bank, Glasgow, Smithers, Gauley Bridge, Pratt, Powellton, Hawks Nest State Park, Handley, Dawes, Swiss, Sharon, and Pond Gap.
This includes West Virginia Turnpike between mile markers 72 and 82.
