At 225 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Pittsboro to near Sanford. Movement was east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Cary, Sanford, Pittsboro, Lillington, Fuquay-Varina, Apex, Holly Springs, Broadway, Seaforth Boat Dock, and Harris Lake Boat Launch.
This includes US 1 between Mile Markers 69 and 95.
