At 918 AM EST, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers along a line extending from 7 miles east of Newton to 6 miles northwest of Shelby.
Movement was east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Gastonia, Huntersville, Kannapolis, Shelby, Lincolnton, Cornelius, Mooresville, Kings Mountain, Mt Holly, and Davidson.
