Movement was southeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, with gusts of 45 to 50 mph possible on higher ridgetops. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Waynesville, Lake Junaluska, Maggie Valley, Hot Springs, Balsam, Clyde, the Smoky Mountains including the Cataloochee, Balsam Mountain, and Big Creek areas, and a portion of the B.R.
