Movement was southeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Marshall, North Asheville, Woodfin, Weaverville, Mars Hill, Hot Springs, UNC-Asheville, Leicester, and a portion of the Blue Ridge Parkway from Asheville to Craggy Gardens. ![]() |
