Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE... A portion of western North Carolina, including the following county, Buncombe. * WHEN... Until 700 PM EDT. * IMPACTS... Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 352 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Water levels may become elevated along tributaries of Cane Creek, specifically Trantham Creek. Nearby roadways including Wright's Cove Road and Fairview Forest Drive may be affected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
