At 700 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles southwest of Belmont, or 9 miles east of Parkersburg, moving southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Parkersburg, Belpre, Vienna, Mineralwells, Boaz, North Hills, Cairo, Willow Island, Walker, Nutter Farm, Petroleum, Schultz, Waverly, and Davisville.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 168 and 185.
Route 50 in West Virginia between mile markers 6 and 31.
