Lingering slush and runoff has refrozen and likely resulted in patchy black ice on area roads. Icy patches will remain until temperatures can warm above freezing later this morning. If traveling this morning, be prepared for slick spots, especially on bridges and overpasses and any untreated roadways. Use extra caution when walking on sidewalks, driveways, and in parking lots.
