At 323 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms with frequent lightning along a line extending from 4 miles southwest of Indian Land to 10 miles southeast of Rock Hill to 7 miles west of Lancaster, and moving northeast at 20 mph.
Locations to be impacted include...
Rock Hill, Fort Mill, Waxhaw, Lesslie, Great Falls, Marvin, Fort Lawn, Catawba, Fishing Creek Reservoir, and South Charlotte.
In addition to intense lightning, very heavy rainfall rates up to 2 inches per hour will be possible in these areas.
