Additional snow accumulations up to one inch. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. Black ice will develop on roadways overnight. * WHERE... Portions of central, southwest, and west central Virginia and southeast West Virginia. * WHEN... Until 9 AM EST Tuesday. * IMPACTS... Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact commutes. Significant ice accumulation on power lines and tree limbs may cause widespread and long-lasting power outages. Very cold temperatures combined with power outages may cause difficulties concerning heating. |
