At 341 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4 miles southwest of Spruce Pine. This storm was nearly stationary.
Locations to be impacted include...
Spruce Pine, B.R. Parkway-Little Switzerland To Linville, B.R.
Parkway-Craggy To Little Switzerland, Bandana, North Cove, Micaville, Celo, Little Switzerland, Woodlawn and Busick.
Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail will be possible in these areas.
