* Until 830 PM EDT.

* At 526 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Rainfall rates of up to 3 inches in an hour are possible.
Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Lexington, Buena Vista, Goshen, Millboro, Rockbridge Baths, Warm Springs and Hot Springs.
Actual rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area.
If this rain falls within less than an hour it will result in minor flooding.
This includes the following streams and drainages...
Buffalo Creek, Cabin Creek, Alum Creek, Calfpasture River, Bolshers Run, Big Marys Creek, Alone Mill Creek and Back Creek.
