Flash Flood Warning issued June 26 at 6:35PM EDT until June 26 at 11:15PM EDT by NWS Blacksburg VA
At 635 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated the thunderstorms that prompted the Flash Flood Warning have dissipated. However, runoff from these earlier heavy rain will gather in streams and other low-lying areas and is expected to prompt flash flooding. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
