At 855 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Ansonville, or 7 miles north of Wadesboro, moving northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Uwharrie Haven, Ansonville, Eldorado, Badin, Fish Tales Marina, Morrow Mountain State Park, Mount Gilead, Candor, Peachland, and Pekin.
