Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, heavy rain is still possible with this thunderstorm.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 600 PM EDT for northwestern North Carolina...southwestern Virginia...and southeastern West Virginia. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch also remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for north central North Carolina...and west central Virginia.
