Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

Portions of southwest Virginia, including the following counties, Buchanan and Dickenson and southern West Virginia, including the following counties, Boone, Logan, McDowell, Mingo, Raleigh and Wyoming.

* WHEN...
Until 830 AM EST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...
Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Local media have reported water rescues.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1216 AM EST, gauge reports indicated heavy rain. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area.
Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area.
