At 257 PM EDT, Rainfall has decreased in intensity across Yadkin County. However, between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain has fallen in parts of Yarkin county including areas such as East Bend and Yadkinville. Flash flooding remains a threat especially across the eastern part of the county.
HAZARD...Flash flooding resulting from excessive rainfall from thunderstorms during the past couple of hours.
SOURCE...Doppler radar.
IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas.
