A portion of southwest Virginia, including the following counties and independent cities, City of Bristol, City of Norton, Lee, Russell, Scott, Washington and Wise.

* WHEN...
Until 1000 PM EST.

* IMPACTS...
Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 641 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area.
The Clinch River and tributaries are near minor flood stage and continue to rise due to runoff.
