* Until midnight EDT.

* At 856 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding.
Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
High Point, Asheboro, Lexington, Randleman, North Carolina Zoo, Thomasville, Linwood, Archdale, Trinity, Ramseur, Denton, Franklinville, Gordontown, Martha, Ulah, Randleman Regional Reservior Marina, High Rock Lake Marina & Campground, High Rock Boat Dock Marina, High Rock and Nc Wildlife Access Boat Launch.
This includes the following streams and drainages...
Brier Creek, Little Uwharrie River, Hamby Creek, Caraway Creek, and Plummer Creek. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
