Flash Flood Warning issued September 27 at 4:19AM EDT until September 27 at 6:00AM EDT by NWS Blacksburg VA
At 419 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that heavy rain has exited the Danville area, leaving only light to moderate rainfall. However, rainfall totals of 3 inches or more were observed in the City of Danville earlier this morning, with most of it falling over a short period of time. Area creeks and streams will remain high through 6 AM as the runoff from this rainfall continues to flow down these waterways.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
