Cameras and observations show that areas of fog continue early this morning over portions of Virginia and northeast North Carolina. Visibilities are generally between one half and two miles, but are variable and will drop to one quarter mile in a few locations through 9 am. Visibilities are expected to improve rapidly after 9 am.
Motorists should be alert for sudden changes in visibility due to the areas of fog. Drive at reduced speeds and use low beam headlights only.
