Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...
Portions of east Tennessee, including the following counties, Carter, Hawkins, Sullivan and Washington and southwest Virginia, including the following county, Scott.

* WHEN...
Until 330 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1227 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Johnson City, Kingsport, Elizabethton, Gate City, Jonesborough, Weber City, Colonial Heights, Spurgeon, Gray, Oak Grove, Midway, Central, Pine Crest, Church Hill, Mount Carmel, Unicoi, Bluff City, Watauga, Clinchport and Warriors Path State Park.
