At 1121 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a heavy rain shower 12 miles southeast of Statesville, or near Cleveland. This shower was nearly stationary.
Locations to be impacted include...
Cleveland, Mount Ulla, and Piedmont Research Station.
Very heavy rainfall rates up to 2 inches per hour will be possible in these areas.
