At 952 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a thunderstorm with frequent lightning 4 miles north of Taylorsville, moving east at 5 mph.
Locations to be impacted include...
Taylorsville, Vashti, Ellendale, and Little River In Alexander County.
In addition to intense lightning, torrential rainfall rates up to 3 inches per hour will be possible in these areas.
