Portions of Virginia, including the following counties and independent cities, Alleghany VA, Bath, Botetourt, City of Covington, City of Radford, Craig, Giles, Montgomery and Pulaski and southeast West Virginia, including the following counties, Greenbrier and Monroe. * WHEN... Until 945 PM EDT. * IMPACTS... Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 637 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Back Creek and Anthony Creek. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Blacksburg... Christiansburg... Radford... Alleghany... Pulaski... Covington...
