At 28.0 feet, Brookneal Fish Hatchery pond furthest downstream begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:45 PM EST Saturday the stage was 16.4 feet and rising.
- Bankfull stage is 22.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow morning to a crest of 26.5 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage early Monday morning.
- Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
