At 409 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across western and central El Paso county, including the Colorado Springs metro area. Radar indicated between 1 and 2 inches of rain has fallen over the immediate Colorado Springs area down to the Fountain area.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
