A portion of central Virginia, including the following counties and independent city, Amherst, Appomattox, Buckingham, Campbell and City of Lynchburg.

* WHEN...
Until 1100 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Ponding of water on roads.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 800 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is expected in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
