Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches. Localized amounts of up to 6 inches are possible along the higher ridges. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

In Maryland, Garrett County. In Virginia, Western Highland County. In West Virginia, Western Grant and Western Pendleton Counties.

* WHEN...
Until 7 PM EST this evening.

* IMPACTS...
Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
Light to moderate snow will continue this morning, then give way to upslope snow showers during the day.
Areas of blowing snow are likely which could result in significant drifting of snow, impacting travel.
