Snow the North Carolina mountains. Additional snow accumulations up to one inch with locally higher amounts near the Tennessee border. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...
Portions of northeast Georgia and western North Carolina.

* WHEN...
Until noon EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...
The snowfall will create slippery and snow covered roadways. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday morning commute. Patchy black ice will also be possible Thursday morning.
