Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

A portion of Montgomery, Richmond and Stanly counties.

* WHEN...
Until 1030 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 920 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. A few isolated locations received up to 3 inches of rain.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Albemarle, Plyler, Norwood, Badin, Mount Gilead, Lake Tillery, Uwharrie Haven and Morrow Mountain State Park.
