Areas of fog, locally dense in spots, will affect the evening commute across the region. The thickest fog will reduce visibilities to one mile or less with some locally dense patches less than one-half mile.
Motorists should be prepared for rapidly changing visibilities and allow for extra travel time this afternoon and evening. If driving, slow down, use your low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
