* Until 1145 PM EDT.

* At 837 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain has fallen, with the greatest amounts in the Tar River basin near Stem, between Butner and Oxford.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Oxford, Roxboro, Creedmoor, Butner, Rougemont, Concord, Stem, Moriah, Surl, Berea, Lake Butner, Lake Michie, Bethel Hill, Mayo Reservoir, Bushy Fork, Falls Lake, Hyco Lake and Hyco Marina.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
