At 1256 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms extending from 7 miles northeast of Pittsboro to 10 miles east of Sanford to near Antioch. Movement was east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Raleigh, Durham, Fayetteville, Cary, Sanford, Raeford, Pittsboro, Lillington, Fort Liberty, and Garner.
