Snow. Additional snow accumulations up to one inch. Winds gusting as high as 60 mph, and up to 70 mph on higher ridgetops.

Avery, Madison, Mitchell, and Yancey Counties.

* WHEN...
Until 7 AM EST this morning.

* IMPACTS...
The snowfall will create slippery and snow covered roadways. Very strong winds could cause extensive damage to trees and power lines.
